What is PBIS?

PBIS = Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports & Bully Prevention

Program Overview

PBIS and Bully Prevention is guided by the sustained use of scientifically based behavior and academic interventions and supports:

    -Using data to drive decisions and solving of problems.

    -Arranging the environment to prevent the development and occurrence of

      problem behavior.

    -Teaching and encouraging prosocial skills and behaviors.

    -Implementing evidence-based behavior practices with fidelity and

      accountability.

    -Monitoring student performance and progress.

We expect PBIS & Bully Prevention to not only maximize student engagement but also increase student achievement for all students.
