The Community Relations Office provides leadership in communications and community engagement that support Bloomington Public Schools’ strategic plan and its schools, staff and students.

The work of the Community Relations Office is guided by the belief that effective communication is a two-way process involving both internal and external audiences. We work to establish positive relationships with parents, business leaders and community to build support for public education. We believe that meaningful public engagement encourages community involvement in education that benefits children and increases student achievement.
