About Food Services

We know eating a healthy breakfast and lunch helps children stay focused and ready to learn. Our schools prepare and serve more than 2,000 breakfast and 5,700 lunch meals every day. Breakfast is available at every school.

As part of Minnesota's Free School Meals Program, starting in the 2023-24 school year all students can have one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school.

Application for Educational Benefits (Free or Reduced Fees)

While an application is no longer required to receive free meals, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important. Students may qualify for benefits like reduced fees for transportation, athletic programs, academic or extracurricular activities. Applying for Educational Benefits also helps schools qualify for education funding, discounts and other meal programs the benefit all students.

Please complete the Application for Educational Benefits for the 2023-24 school year.
