Afternoon Community Education programs cancelled
Due to a water main break near the Bloomington Community Education Campus, water has been shut off in the building indefinitely. As a result, the following programs are cancelled for the afternoon:
  • Community Education and Metro South programs
  • Bloomington Career and College Academy (BCCA)
  • Bloomington Transition Center (BTC)
Career and College Academy students will remain at their home school. Students attending BTC will be transported home, and their parents have been notified.

Free and Reduced Meal Application for Educational Benefits

Eating a nutritious breakfast and lunch helps children do their best in school. Many families may qualify for free school meals and reduced fees. Students eligible for meal benefits use the meal account system and key in their lunch PIN just as all students. 

To apply online, click the Apply Online button above.

To fill out a paper application in your language, click the appropriate link below, and mail the signed and completed application to the District Food Service office at 1350 W. 106th St., Bloomington, MN 55431, or return it to the school kitchen.  You will receive an eligibility response letter in the mail.

Eligibility for reduced fees

Families may also be eligible for reduced fees for transportation, field trips, school fees and athletics. Complete the meal benefits application and check the consent to share box to allow your school to determine eligibility for reduced fee benefits.
