Meet the Principal

On behalf of the Indian Mounds staff, I want to welcome you to Indian Mounds Elementary. My name is Liz Lodermeier and I am so thankful to be the principal at Indian Mounds Elementary. I have been the dean of students at Valley View Elementary for the past four years. Prior to that, I taught at Indian Mounds for eleven years, and I truly feel like I have returned home.

At Indian Mounds, we are committed to helping your child grow academically, socially and emotionally. We believe in building a love of learning in our students, and also in teaching students the importance of kindness and love. We are proud to be a computer science immersion school and aim to empower students with creativity, collaboration, communication, persistence and confidence as they navigate an ever-changing world.

I believe strongly in the power of human connection, and in the importance of relationships. I am deeply committed to providing every child and family with equitable opportunities. Please stop by and visit anytime. My door is always open.
