Meet the Principal

Welcome, Jefferson Families!

I am extremely proud and excited to be serving as principal of Jefferson High School since 2016. Our team of teachers and staff is committed to creating a safe, welcoming school environment and to helping our students succeed.

We communicate with parents regularly via email so please make sure your contact information and preferences are up to date in Infinite Campus. I periodically update and distribute Principal's Voice and I encourage you to follow me on Twitter and on Instagram via the links below.

My background is in teaching, as a social studies teacher in Brooklyn Center. I also served as director at Urban League Academy High School, Minneapolis, and in North St. Paul as dean of students at John Glenn Middle School before becoming the assistant principal at North High School for three years.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in secondary education/social studies from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and a Career and Technical Education Certificate from Bemidji State University. I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and administrative licensure from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and completed a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Bethel University.

When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family, attending sporting events and concerts, and traveling to as many places as I can.
