The Bloomington Jefferson band program will host its annual “Bandcake” Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 8 a.m. to noon in the Jefferson High School cafeteria, 4001 W. 102nd St.

Breakfast will include all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. There will be a silent auction and musical performances by Jefferson band students. Bidding for the silent auction is open Jan. 17-24, and can be found at tinyurl.com/5n7femm6.

Around 190 students participate in Jefferson’s four curricular bands, including the concert, symphonic and varsity bands, and the wind ensemble.

Tickets are $10 at the door and guests are welcome to take their breakfast to-go. Proceeds from the event support Jefferson’s curricular bands along with the marching band, flag corps, and jazz and pep bands.
