Cap & Gown / Graduation Ticket Pick Up | Wednesday, May 20 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Auditorium Each graduate will receive eighteen (18) tickets. Only ticket-holders may enter the U.S. Bank Stadium. Tickets will only be issued to the graduate.

Preparing for Graduation
Graduation Fee
This fee covers site rental, transportation, and paper and printing costs. Payment is required prior to cap, gown, and ticket pickup.
Once available, payment may be made online through the Campus Parent Portal or in the Main Office with cash or a check payable to ISD 271.
Commencement Attire / Cap & Gown Pick-Up
All students participating in commencement will wear the official Jefferson cap, gown, and tassel. These items are provided at no cost and are kept by the graduate. Cap and gown orders were due December 5, 2025. If you still need to place an order, please contact Ms. Amanda Lally at alally@isd271.org or 952-806-7600.
Students who are not participating in the ceremony may also pick up their cap, gown, and tassel.
Cap & Gown Pick-Up Details
- Date: Wednesday, May 20
- Time: 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- After May 20, items will be available in the Main Office.
- Seniors must pick up their own cap and gown; friends or siblings may not pick up for others
Eligibility Requirements
To pick up a cap and gown, students must:
- Pay all outstanding fines, including the graduation fee, and return all school-issued items (for assistance, call 952-806-7600)
- Complete all 12th-grade Personal Growth Plan lessons (see Ms. Wallerick for help or status)
- Be within 3 credits of completing graduation requirements
Cultural Adornments
Students are welcome to wear stoles and cultural adornments that celebrate and reflect their culture, race, ethnicity, gender, and/or sexual orientation. All adornments should be worn respectfully, authentically represent the student’s identity, and follow district policies and the student handbook. Graduation caps are worn plain, without decorations.
Graduation Tickets
Each graduate will receive eighteen (18) tickets for guest seating inside the stadium. A ticket is required for all guests, including children who need a seat. Only guests with a valid ticket will be admitted to U.S. Bank Stadium.
Tickets will be picked up by the graduate at cap and gown pickup and will be released only to the graduate or a guardian.
Additional tickets are not available. Graduates are responsible for keeping their tickets secure, as lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced. Photocopied tickets will not be accepted, and guests without tickets should not plan to attend the ceremony at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Day of the Ceremony
Ceremony Rehearsal
Students will take part in a ceremony rehearsal. More information will be provided as the date approaches.
Attending the Ceremony
Each graduating senior may invite up to eighteen (18) ticketed guests. Only guests with tickets will be admitted. No overflow or live viewing is available, and guests without tickets should not come to the stadium.
Guests will not be admitted after the ceremony ends, and re-entry is not permitted if a guest leaves during the ceremony.
Transportation & Parking
Guests are responsible for their own transportation to U.S. Bank Stadium. Parking is available in nearby ramps and lots at varying rates. Visit the U.S. Bank Stadium directions and parking webpage for details.
Bag & Item Restrictions
Large bags, backpacks, purses, and outside food or drinks are not permitted. Graduates may bring only their cap, gown, and tassel when boarding the bus. Personal items (including flowers and water bottles) are not allowed. Sanitary products will be available in lobby restrooms.
Conduct Expectations
All graduates and guests must follow Jefferson High School expectations. Anyone not complying may be removed from the ceremony. Noise-making devices are not permitted to ensure each graduate’s name can be heard in the stadium and on recordings.
Senior All Night Party
The Senior All Night Party is a non-school-sponsored event organized by parents and caregivers to provide our graduates with a safe, fun, and memorable way to celebrate the end of their high school experience. To make this event a success, we rely on the support of many volunteers.
