Jefferson competition cheer wins ninth national championship

Jefferson’s competition cheer team earned its sixth consecutive national championship at the 2025 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship, held Feb. 7-10 in Orlando, FL.

The team competed against 37 other teams from across the country in the Small Varsity Game Day Division I competition. Jefferson came in first place in prelims, automatically advancing them to the finals where they won the national championship. It’s the team’s ninth national championship.

The Jefferson competition cheer team is coached by Taylor Mancini, Kelly Gerleve and Natalie Moran.
