Back to School Night, including 9th Grade & New Student Orientation

Students entering 9th grade and those who are new to Kennedy, along with their families/caregivers, are invited to attend this important meeting that prepares everyone for what to expect at Kennedy High School.    

They will also be able to tour the building and identify classroom locations. 

Parents will have an opportunity to learn about the school’s vision and the support systems in place to ensure each student feels a sense of belonging and experiences success. 

Please use the main entrance and arrive by 5:30 p.m. for the start of the program. 

Transportation is not provided.

Kennedy Connect Day

Kennedy Connect day is a casual, drop-in event that gives students the opportunity to complete a number of important tasks prior to the start of the school year including:

• Chromebook distribution if needed
• Obtain their district password and login to BPS
• Have school pictures taken for the yearbook and school ID cards
• Pick up parking permits
• Receive lunch account codes and deposit money into their accounts (if needed)
• Learn about Athletics and Activities
• Order Yearbooks
• Purchase Athletic Season Passes
• Self-Guided Tour
