Bloomington senior wins Minnesota scholar athlete award

Kennedy senior Kenneth Adah is one of eight high school football players statewide to win this year’s Scholar-Athlete Award from the Minnesota Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF).
The annual award program honors senior high school football players for their outstanding athletic, academic and community service accomplishments.
“Playing football for the first time this year was an amazing experience,” Adah said. “I’m incredibly grateful to win this award, and it’s an honor to be recognized for my accomplishments.”
Each year, high school football coaches across the state submit nominations, and board members from the Minnesota Chapter of the NFF select eight winners from the candidate pool.
Adah receives a $1,000 college scholarship as part of this award. He and the other winners will be recognized at an awards event in April, which will be recorded and broadcast during the Minnesota Football Honors television show, airing this summer.
