Bloomington students earn 2025 Scholastic Art awards and honors
Jefferson and Kennedy students earned 34 high honors in the 2025 Minnesota Scholastic Arts competition, the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious art recognition program for creative teens. Award-winning pieces included paintings, drawings, illustrations, photographs, digital art, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, and fashion.
Gold Key
The highest honor is the Gold Key award, awarded to students displaying exceptional creativity, skill and vision. This year’s Gold Key award recipients are:

Honorable Mention
Honorable mentions are presented to artists whose work showed great skill and potential. Honorable mention recognition went to Jefferson’s Arias, Olive Burres, Mundt, Obada, and Ava Ziminske; and Kennedy’s Alvarado Lazo, Milo Anderson-Bazinet, Miranda Buhler, Angelica Contreras, Azrah Johnson, Dash Laaksonent, Emmannette Little, Altez Ostalaza, Payton Subak, and Natalia Villalobos Alvarado.
