Bloomington Public Schools welcomes Laura Willis as the district’s new director of Gifted & Talented Services.

Willis previously served as head of advanced learning for Rochester Public Schools. Willis has also served in the areas of curriculum and instruction, instructional technology, and as a school-wide instructional coach. Willis holds a Master of Science degree in education from Winona State University and an undergraduate degree from Concordia College, Moorhead.

Willis takes over for Erin Boltik, who will serve as the high school GT coordinator before retiring at the end of the school year.
