Dymoke elected to lead School Board; Bennett vice chair
Matt Dymoke was elected to chair the Bloomington School Board for the 2025 term during the board’s annual organizational meeting this week. Dymoke is in his fourth year on the school board. Other officers elected by their peers are Tom Bennett, vice chair; Nelly Korman, clerk; and Beth Beebe, treasurer.
School board members also confirmed appointments to state and regional committees:
- Mia Olson to the Association of Metropolitan School Districts (AMSD)
- Bennett to the Intermediate District 917 Board
- Dymoke to the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) and an alternate to AMSD.
The school board hosts listening sessions for public comment at 6 p.m. and study sessions at 7 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. The regular business meeting is 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. The third Monday of the month is reserved for a study session, regular meeting, professional development or a combination if needed.
The next school board business meeting is 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 27.
