Health Commons at Pond is rated among the top clinics in the country providing quality care to patients and ensuring the medically underserved have access to affordable healthcare. This is the eighth year the clinic has earned the Gold Standard rating for clinical excellence from the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC), which is the highest rating given by the organization. The rating showcases the high quality care provided to the Bloomington community.

Health Commons at Pond is a free medical clinic operated in partnership with Bloomington Public Schools and the Minnesota State University, Mankato nursing program. Care is provided by family nurse practitioner-level students, faculty and staff. The clinic provides health and wellness care to Bloomington Public Schools students ages 21 and younger at no cost including sports physicals, immunizations (age 18 and younger), a variety of screenings, children’s dental services and telehealth visits. 

Health Commons at Pond reopens for the new school year Monday, Aug. 10 and is generally open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-5 p.m. Appointments are preferred and can be scheduled by calling 952-681-6277. Visit the Health Commons at Pond webpage for more information about services offered.
