Jefferson Cross Country teams excel at MetroWest Conference

Jefferson Boys Cross Country Team

The Jefferson High School boys' cross country team took first place at the 2022 MetroWest Conference Championships. 

Jefferson boys had six runners finish in the top 10 individually. Senior Adam Lueth took second place and sophomore Zach Tapajna came in fourth place. Ian Klein, Miles Bassett, Patrick Altstatt and Alexander Altstatt came in seventh through tenth place respectively.

Jefferson Girls Cross Country Team

Jefferson girls' cross country team finished strong coming in third place. Senior Megan Lee took second place individually and freshman Amelia Borgen came in 14th place. Avery Rich, Jamie Drewitz, Vivian Krhin, and Caroline Hemann finished in the top 30.

Both teams will advance to the section 3AAA competition on Oct. 27.
