Jefferson, Kennedy high schools name Triple ‘A’ nominees

Bloomington high school seniors Saemee Oh and Zachary Studdiford (Jefferson) and Tyler Jost and Julia Ohm (Kennedy) are this year’s Academics, Arts and Athletics Award (Triple ‘A’) nominees.

Each year, high school seniors are selected for their participation in Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) sponsored arts and athletics while maintaining high academic standing. They are eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship and will be honored at the Triple ‘A’ on-court ceremony, which will be held in conjunction with the boys' State Basketball Tournament in March. 

Oh has participated in tennis (captain, all-conference) and orchestra (all-conference) while maintaining a 4.02 GPA.

Studdiford has participated in cross-country, nordic, track & field and band while maintaining a 4.37 GPA.

Jost has participated in hockey (captain, all-conference), baseball, golf and is a state participant for the Minnesota Scholastics Arts program while maintaining a 4.152 GPA.

Ohm has participated in tennis (captain) and is a state participant (superior rating) for the Minnesota Scholastics Arts program while maintaining a 4.275 GPA.
