Jefferson students showcase award-winning talent at 2025 Metro West art exhibition

Three Jefferson High School students earned awards at the Metro West conference visual arts exhibition in March. The show, hosted by Normandale Community College, consists of artwork by students across the conference.

Indi Wobbema earned the highest honor with the Best of Show Normandale Award of Excellence for her watercolor painting titled, “Grandma.”

Delaney Mundt earned an Award of Excellence and a Teachers Choice Award for her “Drink up While it Lasts” piece in the porcelain category. Emma Obada earned an Award of Excellence for her “Hands of Abundance” piece in the wood, glass, clay category. 

Other Jefferson student artwork displayed at the show was created by Olive Burres, Amelia Busse, Lucy Carlson, Sam DeToffol, Maggie Morrow, Freya Nafziger, Savannah Sewall, and Sage Stirratt.
