Jefferson Theatre Company presents ‘Mamma Mia!’

Jefferson Theatre Company presents its spring musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ April 25-27 and May 2-4 in the Jefferson High School auditorium, 4001 W. 102nd St.

In Mamma Mia, ABBA's hits tell the hilarious story of a young woman's search for her birth father. On the eve of her wedding, her quest brings three men from her mother's past back to the Greek island paradise they last visited 20 years ago.

The show features a cast and crew of more than 80 students under the direction of Laura Schmit, as well as music directors Tyler Eliason and Brian Ohnsorg, with set building by Mark Borchardt, lighting design by Josh Fremder and costumes by Laurie Clements.

Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays, April 25-26 and May 2-3 at 7 p.m. and Sundays, April 27 and May 4 at 1 p.m. Audience members are encouraged to wear 70s costumes. Tickets are $10 for adults in advance, $15 at the door, $8 for seniors and students, and are available at jeffersontheatrecompany.org. Tickets are $5 for the senior preview show on April 24 at 3 p.m.
