Jefferson Theatre Company presents ‘Our Town’ and ‘Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook’
Jefferson Theatre Company kicks off its 2024-25 season with two productions, ‘Our Town’ and ‘Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook’ Oct. 4-6 at Jefferson High School, 4001 W. 102nd Street.
Our Town presents the small town of Grover’s Corners in three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager, the play explores the simple lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and face the inevitability of death.
Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook follows the adventures of Junie B., who finds herself in a predicament when someone steals her mittens at school. When she finds a colorful pen, the question arises: should she keep it? This humorous and heartwarming story will delight audiences of all ages.
Our Town is directed by Laura Schmit and features a cast and crew of 20 students. Junie B. Jones is Not a Crook, directed by Gaby Schmit, features a cast and crew of 20 students.
