Jefferson Theatre Company presents “Tinkerbell” Oct. 14-16 in the Jefferson High School auditorium, 4001 W. 102nd St. Children are invited to dress up in costume and participate in a costume parade after the show.

This fresh and intensely theatrical adaptation of the classic tale of Peter Pan offers Tinkerbell’s side of the story, emphasizing play, fun and the complicated nature of friendship. A new, twinkling light shines on all the characters as J.M. Barrie’s story is reborn from the feisty fairy’s point of view.

The show features 40 students as cast and crew under the direction of Laura Schmit, with sets and lighting design by Roger Skophammer and costumes by Laurie Clements

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students and are available at showtix4u.com/event-details/66669 or at the door one hour prior to each performance.

The company will hold a senior special performance Oct. 16 at 1 p.m. Tickets for this performance are $5 and are available at the door.
