Kids’ SAFARI leader earns regional Community Education award
Julie Kinsella, youth and family program manager, received the regional Community Educator of Excellence Award from the Minnesota Community Education Association (MCEA). The award highlights professionals for their outstanding contributions, dedication to community education across the state, and pursuit of collective learning.
As Bloomington Community Education’s Youth and Family Program Manager, Kinsella oversees the district’s Kids’ SAFARI and Preschool SAFARI programs, providing safe, engaging, and enriching experiences for children and families.
Kinsella has been an active member of MCEA for more than 20 years. She serves on the organization’s School Age Care Committee, looking for ways to advance programs across the state.
“I am humbled to be a recipient of this award. This recognition shines a light on the amazing work done every day by Community Education and school age care programs. I have been truly fortunate to work alongside amazing people, and this award is a testament to our collective dedication,“ said Kinsella.
