Meeting Highlights

• The School Board recognized board member Beth Beebe, who is leaving the board after eight years of service. She was presented with a service bell to commemorate her time serving the students, staff, families and community of Bloomington Public Schools.
• The School Board approved several 2025-27 employee group contracts including:
  • Community Education Independent hourly employees
  • Community Education salaried employees
  • Bloomington Food Service Association
  • Independent Employees
  • Bloomington Principals’ Association
• The School Board held its annual Truth in Taxation meeting, in which it approved the proposed final property tax levy for the 2025 payable 2026 levy of $78.2 million. More details can be found in the Final Pay 2026 Levy presentation in the Meeting Materials.
