Learning with Trees

Normandale Hills is fortunate to receive another grant through the Tree Trust/Learning with Trees Program! This means we will be able to plant 25-30 new trees and revamp our outdoor learning space this spring. We need volunteers to help with two separate learning events for students.

Traveling with Trees Exhibit

During the week of Apr. 28, students will visit an on-site, volunteer-run, Traveling with Trees exhibit at Normandale Hills. During this visit, students will rotate among 5-6 stations to learn more about the benefits of trees. We need several adult volunteers to provide an overview of each station (lesson plans will be provided) and monitor the rotation of the students through the stations.
