NH Operation Property Return (OPR)

Dear NH Families,

Please read carefully the following end-of-year plans to distribute your student’s personal property left at school, and the return of district property on loan to students during the stay-at-home order.

Your student’s personal property - supplies, jackets, footwear, and other items - have been placed in a bag and marked with their name, grade and teacher’s name. If your student has medications left in the nurse’s office, they will be returned with their property.

The week of June 1-5 is designated for OPERATION PROPERTY RETURN (OPR).  The exchange of student and district property will take place outside of Door #1 (re: Main Entrance). This location will allow for easy-in/easy-out traffic flow.

Each grade level has an assigned date and time for parents/families to return district property, including library books or other school materials, and band instruments. See the visual reminder of what can/should be returned.

Kindergarten - Grade 4

The return of district assigned Chromebooks, iPads, chargers, WiFi hotspots, and other tech devices is voluntary. You are welcome to keep these devices over the summer or return them during Operation Property Return. 

5th Grade Chromebooks

While all students are allowed to keep devices over the summer, 5th Graders MUST return their current Chromebooks to school.  Current 5th graders who want a new Chromebook over summer may pick up their new middle school Chromebook when they return their current Chromebook.

Our staff will place student property inside the vehicle on an empty seat or in the trunk or hatchback area. For safety reasons, no one should leave the vehicle.

Students/families that choose to walk or ride their bikes to school will be directed to the location for student and district property exchange.

It is important to adhere to the assigned schedule for your student’s grade level by date and time. If you have multiple students attending school, please plan to pick-up/drop-off property on the date assigned to the oldest student by grade level. If you cannot make the assigned date and time for your student(s), please plan to attend any of the open dates and times noted on the schedule. We have no other dates and times scheduled beyond June 5, so please make every effort to complete the property exchange during this time.

If you or a family member are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, or have a confirmed case. Please call (952) 806.7050 to make other arrangements.

We invite you to bring your children with you on your assigned date and time as a way for them to  say goodbye to their teacher and other school staff. Again, for safety reasons no one should leave the vehicle.
