This fall, we introduced Google’s Be Internet Awesome Family Guide which includes five focus areas. Areas one and two were featured in September and October. 

This month, we’re highlighting the third component, Be Internet Strong, which emphasizes the importance of security, privacy and safety online. Below is an activity your family can complete to discuss the importance of strong passwords and online security protocols. 

Family Activity

Complete this activity that provides sample scenarios to talk about as a family. Activity goals include: 

  1. Understanding why digital security matters and how to make it happen. 
  2. Learning how to create strong passwords.
