The Indian Education program has created a culture trunk to assist classroom teachers in improving students' understanding of Minnesota's Indian nations. The trunk contains teacher background information, books, DVDs and curriculum aligned to social studies and language arts standards that teach about Ojibwe and Dakota. The culture trunk can be checked out by any K-12 Bloomington teacher or grade-level team for three weeks by filling out the online request form.
