Bloomington Bookfest was a huge success!

We had a tremendous turnout for the Second Annual Bloomington Bookfest.  Over 600 people attended, visiting with local children's book authors Nancy Carlson, Douglas Wood, and KARE-11 Meteorologist Belinda Jensen.  Children were able to visit with costumed characters, see the cast of Oak Grove Middle School's upcoming musical Frozen, explore reading-themed rooms put together by the Media Directors from Bloomington Elementary Schools, and visit tables offering summer programs, activities, and classes.  All children attending received a free book to take home.  Bloomington Community Education would like to thank everyone in attendance, our volunteers, and sponsors!
