Free Paraprofessional Training

Bloomington Public Schools, Metro South Adult Basic Education, Normandale Community College and Project for Pride in Living are partnering to offer a FREE five-month paraprofessional training program starting in April. Paraprofessionals are employed in school districts to support students and teachers in the classroom.

Classes will be held in the evenings and some Saturdays at Normandale Community College. Upon completing the program, participants will be qualified to apply for paraprofessional positions with Bloomington Public Schools beginning in fall 2020.

Participants must attend one of the following one-hour information sessions:

  • Tuesday, March 17, 6 - 7 p.m.
