Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jenna Mitchler was awarded a Fulbright scholarship by the U.S. Department of State Foreign Scholarship Board. Mitchler will spend several weeks this summer in Tajikistan, learning about and supporting work related to design thinking and educational leadership.

The scholarship provides funding for participants to build relationships with international institutions and communities.

Mitchler will be one of 400 U.S. citizens serving as a Fulbright specialist this year. Recipients are selected on the basis of their academic and professional achievement, demonstrated leadership in their field, and potential to foster long-term cooperation between institutions in the U.S. and abroad.
