Bloomington Transition Center (BTC) presented completion diplomas to 28 students in June, the largest class of graduates in program history

BTC provides transitional programs for students aged 18-21, who continue to need services after high school and demonstrate independence in community-based settings.

Graduates included 23 students who completed the BTC and 917 TESA program, which provides transition programming for students, including work experience, post-secondary training programs and developing independent living skills.

Five graduates participated in Project SEARCH, a one-year internship program designed for students whose goal is independent employment. Interns explore career paths and gain marketable work skills while training at Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport.
