Lifeguard Training

The Bloomington Community Education Swim program is offering Lifeguard Training in September.  Learn to be a lifeguard and get involved in our program by working for us!

Training takes place on these dates:

• Friday, Sept. 23 from 5 - 10 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 24 from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This is a blended learning class that combines online training and in-the-pool skills.  A link to the online portion of the class will be sent to students prior to the in-person portion of the class.  Students will need to take the online portion prior to the pool skills training.

Cost: $275*

*Cost may be reimbursed if lifeguard is employed by Bloomington Community Education for 6 months.  Call the Aquatics Coordinator at 952-681-6134 for more information.
