Meet the Principal

I am excited to once again be serving the Olson Middle School community! My Bloomington career began at Olson Middle School as a technology education teacher and for seven rewarding years I worked with students to help foster their love of engineering. When I learned that I would be returning as the principal I told our staff that it was like returning home - and I am glad to be home.

After leaving Olson Middle School, I took a position as dean and then assistant principal at Oak Grove Middle School. These eleven years were filled with wonderful opportunities to learn and to lead and I am excited to bring the knowledge, skills and passion I have for education back to Olson Middle school. I am proud to be part of this community and am dedicated to serving the needs of our students and families and inspiring our students in their love of learning. I look forward to all of the possibilities the future holds.
