Meet the Principal

My name is Megan Willrett and I could not be more thrilled to serve as your principal. I have worked in various school settings for about twenty years and am comfortable working with students at any grade level, but I am most excited about working with middle schoolers. 

I have been in Bloomington since 2007. However, I have been at Valley View Middle School for the past five years. Prior to coming to VVMS, I was the dean of students and a counselor at Kennedy High School. I started my career as an elementary teacher and counselor in North Minneapolis for the 10 years prior to working in Bloomington.

I am dedicated to the success of each student, ambitious about what students can achieve, and energized by the dedicated community of Valley View Middle School educators, students and families.
