We welcome family and community members as volunteers at Westwood!
Anyone who wishes to volunteer must complete the process with the district Volunteer Connection program. To learn more, please visit the district's Volunteer page.
Community Volunteers

Parent/Caregiver Volunteers
To apply to volunteer at Westwood, please complete the application by filling out the Westwood Volunteer Application Link. Please email your child's teacher or the Westwood office at lkieser@isd271.org if you have any questions or need assistance.
For the safety of all the children, all volunteers will be issued a badge and must sign in at the main office when they enter the building and sign out when they leave.
Westwood PTA
The mission of the Westwood Elementary PTA is to support and enhance the overall learning environment at Westwood and strengthen the relationship between home and school. The PTA supports classroom programs, parent communication projects, and community-based programs.
The PTA provides funding for classroom supplies, educational materials, and subsidies for field trips. The PTA also sponsors speakers and assemblies, family fun and enrichment events, and teacher support and appreciation.
