Kids' SAFARI is a before- and after-school child care program. Children participate in structured activities like gym or art, or they may choose to have free play in the game room or outside. Kids' SAFARI also offers full-day care on most days when school is not in session. This is a fee-based program and is open only to children who are enrolled at Westwood.
Before school: 6:30 - 8:50 a.m.
After school: 3:15 - 6 p.m.
Preschool SAFARI offers a quality extended-day preschool experience for three, four, and five year olds. Licensed preschool teachers provide 2.5 hours of instruction with learning opportunities that focus on social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
All grade 5 students have the opportunity to participate in band and orchestra.
