Food Services

About Food Services

We know that eating a healthy breakfast and lunch helps children stay focused and ready to learn. Our schools prepare and serve more than 2,000 breakfast and 7,000 lunch meals every day. Breakfast is available at every school and school meals are available to all students at no cost for the 2021-22 school year.

Application for Educational Benefits (Free and Reduced-price Meals)

Many families are eligible for educational benefits, including waivers for certain school fees as well as Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits.

Qualifying applications generate much needed educational funds for all of our schools so we ask all families to complete an application each year.

All families are encouraged to apply unless Bloomington Schools has notified them by letter or email that they are already on free or reduced this school year.

Complete an online application

Complete this form if you are choosing to opt out of completing an Application for Educational Benefits (AEB) for school year 2021-22 and wish to discontinue messages regarding the AEB.
