Breakfast and lunch are free to all in-person and distance learning students for the 2020-21 school year.

Meals for students continuing in distance learning can be picked up at Kennedy on Tuesdays from Noon - 1 p.m., starting March 16. Grab and go meals will not be available at Kennedy for the week of March 8-12; meals will only be served for in-school students March 11 and 12.

This is not an obligation to pick up meals; the information will only be used to help in planning how many distance learning meal packages to prepare.

About Food Services

We know that eating a healthy breakfast and lunch helps children stay focused and ready to learn. Our schools prepare and serve more than 2,000 breakfast and 7,000 lunch meals every day. Breakfast is available at every school and school meals are available to many eligible students at no cost.

Volunteers are always welcome to help serve lunch at school. Volunteers arrive at lunchtime to help serve student lunches and receive a free school lunch. We welcome the help of parents, guardians, grandparents and community members.
