Bloomington Teachers Nominated for MN Teacher of Year

This picture is a display of our 2022 Education Minnesota Teacher of the Year nominees from Bloomington Public Schools.

Bloomington teachers Angela Fritzlar (Ridgeview Elementary), Niccole Goulet Jordan (Kennedy High School), Beth McCoy (Hillcrest Community School) and Teri Roder (Jefferson High School) are candidates for the 2022 Minnesota Teacher of the Year program. 

The Minnesota Teacher of the Year program is organized by Education Minnesota. This achievement is the oldest and most prestigious recognition program to honor excellence in education.

Qualified leaders from the fields of education, business, government, nonprofit and philanthropy will serve as panelists to narrow the candidates as semifinalists. In March, the panel will reconvene with additional material from semifinalists to choose a group of finalists. 

Once a final candidate is selected, they will serve as an advocate and spokesperson for teachers statewide. Learn more about the distinguished honor:
