Valley View Middle School presents ‘The Little Mermaid, Jr.’

Valley View Middle School presents its spring musical ‘The Little Mermaid, Jr.’ May 4-6 at Valley View Middle, 8900 Portland Ave S. 

Ariel, King Triton's youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human Prince Eric in the world above, bargaining with the evil sea witch Ursula to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.

This production features a cast and crew of 59 students under the direction of Christina Price, music direction by Brian Brokofsky, choreography by Oliver Bauch, with technical direction by Roger Skophammer and costume design by Laurie Clements. 

Showtimes are Thursday, May 4 and Friday, May 5 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, May 6 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $7.
