Information Session: School Board

On July 19 at 7 p.m., there will be an information meeting for persons interested in learning about becoming a school board member. The information meeting will be at the Educational Services Center in Room 601. School Board members Dawn Steigauf, Beth Beebe and Matt Dymoke will provide the leadership for this meeting. 

The term for a School Board member is four years.  School Board members are elected in the odd years.

The next election will be November 7, 2023. There is no primary election for School Board members.

The term of three current School Board members expires December 31, 2023: Nelly Korman, Mia Olson and Heather Starks.

Filings open on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 8 a.m. and close on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 5 p.m. The filing fee is $2.00. Filings will be conducted at the Educational Services Center, 1350 West 106th Street, Room 505, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 pm. On the last day of filing, applications can be filed up until 5 p.m.

Filings for School Board will be accepted by a scheduled appointment with Jennifer Hazel.
