Kennedy High School welcomes new deans

The Kennedy High School administrative team has two new deans of students this school year, Ashleigh Miller and Brad Nelson.

Ashleigh Miller is a longstanding Bloomington Public Schools employee. She has been a counselor for 18 years at Jefferson High School. Miller holds a master's degree in school counseling and a K-12 school counseling license from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She plans to complete an educational specialist degree this fall.

Brad Nelson came to BPS from Hopkins Public Schools, where he was a teacher and worked on special administrative projects. He holds a K-12 principal license from St. Mary’s University. Nelson has worked in education for 28 years, mostly as an English and Spanish teacher.
