New Code Academy leader selected for Seesaw Leadership Council

Holly Skadsem, elementary digital learning coordinator, is joining the newly created Seesaw Leadership Council (SLC). Only 20 educators from across the country were chosen to serve on SLC, recognized as being at the leading edge of trends, opportunities and challenges in elementary education.

Skadsem taught fifth grade at Normandale Hills Elementary School for eight years before moving to the technology and information department in 2016, serving as a digital learning coordinator and program coordinator for New Code Academy. Skadsem holds several certifications and has earned awards and honors for her work on technology in education curriculum, instruction and programming. 

Seesaw is an online learning platform used by teachers and students in grades PreK-5.
