Hello families. I am Brenda Becker and I have been serving the Bloomington Public Schools for the past 30 years and I absolutely love my role as the Assistant Principal. I began my career in 1990 as a PE and Health Teacher until 1997 when I moved into administration as the Dean of Students until accepting the Assistant Principal position in 2013. I received my undergraduate degrees in Physical Education and Athletic Training, and a Masters degree in Health Education from Minnesota State University Mankato. I received my Specialists Degree in Administration from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2007 and have a certification in leadership and training, cognitive coaching and parent coaching. I get my energy from middle schoolers (along with a few music and fashion tips!) and look forward to going to work every day. I am proud to be able to help students not only be academically successful but to also help build the character skills needed in order to be successful in life.
