Lisa has been teaching at Jefferson High School since 2001 in the Special Education Department. She works with students who have emotional and behavioral issues. Lisa attended the University of St. Thomas as an undergraduate with a major in psychology. She then obtained her Master's degree in counseling psychology and was licensed as a psychologist. She continued her education at St. Thomas and earned a Doctorate degree in counseling psychology. While working at JHS, Lisa pursued her special education teacher licensure in the area of Emotional Behavioral Disorders. In her current school role, Lisa provides emotional support to students who are struggling with self-regulation, decision-making, and academic success.
